Linki is a challenging original puzzle game. It consists of a series of boards organised into boardsets. Each board contains several cells, which may be full or empty. The aim of the game is to clear the board of full cells.
This is achieved by connecting tiles together to form linkis. Each time a tile is placed on the board, any other tiles to which it can be connected are examined to see if at least one complete loop (or linki) can be formed - if so, all tiles making up the linki(s) are removed from the board, and any cells upon which they were placed are emptied.
Once all cells have been emptied, play progresses to the next (more challenging) board.
With each new board, certain additional tile types may be made available. Certain tiles may be required to form part of multiple linkis, while others may have several linki possibilities.
There are also special tiles. These are not played in the normal way, and do not form part of a linki. Instead they affect one or more tiles already placed.
